2019 was wild – in both wonderful and not-so-wonderful ways. It was a year of growth, a year of change, a year of loss, and a year of gain. It was a year full of things that we didn’t expect, and it was a year of many unexpected blessings. It was all of these things, and for that we are truly grateful.
We photographed more weddings this year than ever before. 29! Considering in 2018, we shot a total of 17, this year was loaded with them, and at times, it felt overwhelming. But that overwhelming feeling only fueled us to be better and even more grateful for every opportunity that came our way. God has truly blessed our family and we are ever so grateful for His love.
We are also grateful that so many amazing couples put their trust in us to capture their most special moments! This year of weddings was definitely one for the books. Not only did we have the honor to photograph weddings in our home state of Texas, but we were also blessed with amazing opportunities to shoot weddings in Yellowstone National Park, Aspen, Colorado, and Charleston, South Carolina! Getting to experience those special trips with each other was truly incredible. Together, we saw geysers, grizzly bears, golden aspen trees, crystal rivers, majestic mountains, amazingly historic places, towering pine forests, the Atlantic Ocean, and more. And getting to experience all of those things is thanks to the gift of getting to do this for a living, because so many of you have trusted us with your stories. We truly cannot thank you all enough.
